Attention all P6 students: WSSS Scholarships    

At West Spring Secondary School (WSSS), we believe in nurturing potential and celebrating excellence. As part of our commitment to attract and support outstanding students, we are proud to offer Sec 1 Scholarship Awards to deserving students who choose WSSS as their first choice during the Sec 1 Posting Exercise.

*Awards are applicable for Singapore Citizen/ Singapore Permanent Resident only.

🎓 Sec 1 Scholarship Award (Academic) For Top Performing G3 Students

This award recognises students with strong academic ability and exemplary conduct.

Eligibility Criteria (1st Tranche):
✅ Selected WSSS as first choice during the Sec 1 Posting Exercise
✅ Among the Top 10–15 students based on PSLE AL score
✅ Open to G3 students only

Eligibility Criteria (2nd Tranche):
✅ Achieve at least Very Good conduct grade in Semester 2
✅ Ranked within the Top 10% of the cohort for overall academic results

Award Amount:
🎁 Up to $500 per student (funded by the School Advisory Committee)

🌱 Sec 1 Scholarship Award (Leadership) For Students with Strong Leadership Qualities

(Available to students from G1, G2, and G3)

This award honours students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership both in primary school and during their first year at WSSS.

Eligibility Criteria (1st Tranche):
✅ Selected WSSS as first choice during the Sec 1 Posting Exercise
✅ Held leadership roles at school level in primary school
(e.g. Prefects, UG Leaders – exclude class roles or CCA captains)

Eligibility Criteria (2nd Tranche):
✅ Achieve at least Very Good conduct grade in Semester 2
✅ Demonstrate leadership through roles such as:
• Class Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson
• Peer Support Leader
• Student Councillor
• Other equivalent appointments

Award Amount:
🎁 Up to $500 per student (funded by the School Advisory Committee)
